This recipe is one of the tastiest replacements for Pork & Beans, incredibly nutritious and filled with fiber, B-vitamins, iron, and minerals without the preservatives. Kids and adults alike will love its taste. It is so good you will want to double the batch next time!

 4 tbsp Olive, sunflower, grapeseed, or other cooking oil
 1 cup Onion, chopped
 ½ cup Tomato sauce
 2 tsp Vinegar
 2 tsp Prepared mustard
 4 tsp Molasses
 2 tbsp Brown sugar, packed
 12 Pieces smoked or salted ham, diced
 1 cup ( or 1 and 1/2 ) Pinto bean and black bean juice

Cook pinto and black beans in separate pot for this recipe.

In a medium pot, heat oil and sauté onions until transparent.

Add remaining ingredients (including cooked beans) and stir while simmering over medium low heat for 30 to 45 minutes.
