Chickpea Spread

(Use organic ingredients whenever possible).

Wholesome, high-fiber chickpeas and protein-rich quinoa are transformed into this smooth and zesty spread. This is a healthy choice to add some variety to your foods, as a condiment or sandwich spread, or a dip for fresh vegetables.

 1 cup Willow Creek Organic Chickpeas
 1 cup Willow Creek Organic Quinoa
 2 tsp Willow Creek Organic Flax Seed Oil
 1 tsp zest of one lime
 ½ cup plain yogurt
 ½ tsp sea salt
 ¼ tsp Willow Creek Organic Cayenne Pepper
 ¾ tsp Willow Creek Organic Cumin

Precook chickpeas or soak chickpeas overnight before using.

Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
